One of my favorite places to eat at is the Texas Roadhouse. This restaurant is excellent but far from home. The one I go to is located on 181 Huguenot St, New Rochelle, NY. There are many locations throughout the country because it is a renowned chain restaurant. I only go there once or twice a year because of how far away it is. It is convenient to go to when I visit my cousins who live about twenty minutes away from the restaurant because the food will never disappoint.
The Texas Roadhouse is most famous for their steaks. It is a western themed restaurant that put their meat on display to show how it looks before it's cooked. They also have amazing glazed rolls and corn muffins. My favorite dish is the filet mignon with a mashed potato on the side. The restaurant also is my favorite because the environment. You feel like you're actually in Texas.
Even though this place really isn't in a convenient location, I really enjoy going there. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. However, if this place was to close down, I would have to go to the next nearest Texas Roadhouse. Another close restaurant would probably be in New York of to the South. Texas Roadhouse will always be my favorite.
