Do Now Writing Prompt (Cloak)

If I was invisible for 1 day, I would do some common good deeds, to help people with everyday things. I would hold the door open for more than 1 person at a store. Many people don't even hold doors open now, so this would be a good thing to do. I would also help people with groceries. Many people need help moving groceries to and from the car.
If I were to do something larger, I would help poor people for the day. I would bring them food when they are hungry. I would also drop off some blankets and clothes for the winter nights that are upon us. In addition, I would spend time at the soup kitchen helping poor people feed themselves. There is too much poverty in this world, we need to help.

Do Now 12/7

If I was a teacher I would like to see a ROTC program because it is actually useful for kids interested in joining the armed forces. If I were to teach this class, I believe it should meet towards the end of the day because the student's  mind would be active all day leading up to a class they are interested in. Students would get military training in the classroom. They will learn the same curriculum as some colleges that teach ROTC.
If you were to walk into this class you would see students interacting with the teacher about the certain military division they are studying. I would even teach the students basic military training that soldiers used to prepare for basic training. Students could be graded on participation and tests that would require them to show what they learned. They would also have presentations to document the history of their beloved military division.

Do Now 11/30

The three people I am most thankful for are my dad, mom, and grandma. My dad is the guy I can always go to when I need help in certain aspects of life. He can always give me some tips when I do homework, especially in math. He always has my back in baseball, giving me the best opportunity to play at the college level.
I am also thankful for my mom. She always knows how to make me feel better when I'm sick. She also knows how to cheer me up. I can always speak with her if I ever want a good laugh. My mother is very comical, which is what makes her such a good person, and someone I can be thankful for.
My grandma is also someone I am very thankful for having. I don't think the word "no" is in er vocabulary. Whenever I ask her for something she almost always answers my wish. She is a great role model to look up to, she has so much life experience in the business world which can help answer my future questions when I leave college. Life would not be the same without these three people in my life.

Do Now 11/9

During the past break  had a lot of fun. I started my weekend off by going to sky zone. It was really fun and it was fun pegging little kids with balls, they were all scared. However, I did fall a few times because I'm clumsy.
On Saturday, I went to the Wood-Ridge High School football game against Harrison High School. I got to see my old friend from summer baseball, which I haven't seen since July. The game was more fun than usual because Linus and I were smack talking every Harrison fan, young to old. My weekend was very enjoyable.

Web 2.0: Multimedia Blog Pre-Posting

This year I am taking AP physics for the first time in my highschool career. I know that the course is going to have a heavy work load but I am prepared to work hard to provide myself with a better future. The teacher of the course is Mr. Hassinger and this is his first year teaching this course. The grading policy in this class is heavily decided by tests and quizzes. They make up majority of the grade, while homework and classwork take up a smaller percentage. I expected to learn In depth physics throughout the year when I first entered the class. To this date I have learned kinematic equations and dynamics. I enjoy how Mr. Hassinger uses technology to improve our learning, he has a 3D printer and he also requires us to take notes every day on the google chrome books. I have already begun to enjoy this class and I hope that this year turns out to be just as good as it now. I know I will have to work very hard in this class. Hopefully at the end of the year I can pass the AP exam and gain some valuable collge credits.
